How to Calculate ROI on an AI Voice Agent

The ROI formula

There are two numbers you need: what you're currently losing, and what the AI costs. The gap between them is your ROI.

Step 1: Estimate your monthly missed calls. Check your phone system's missed call log, or estimate based on what you know about your operation. The variables that move the needle most

Average ticket value is the single highest-leverage variable in the calculation. A law firm and a restaurant both missing 20 calls per month are facing very different revenue impacts. Know your number precisely — not a rough estimate.
